Aerial view of the Norris Glacier with it's impressive display of ogives, a series of ridges and swales, alternating light and dark bands that show that ice flow movement is more rapid toward the center than at the sides.

Juneau Icefield

First view from the de Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otter. The Juneau Icefield covers an area of 1,500 square miles and is the home to 40 large valley glaciers and 100 smaller ones.
